Can The Alabama Crimson Tide keep it together?

It was not supposed to be like this, there was not supposed to be a season this bad so soon into the Nick Sabin era. Like it or not, this is the season that few people thought would happen this season. Almost every person thought that this was going to be a repeat of the glory that they had last season. The truth of the matter is that this is not the case and as a result the team will be sent to a BCS game that will not be the National Championship.

When people begin the process of pointing fingers, there will be a lot of these people that will be quick to call for Nick Sabin's head on a platter, while this would be the acceptable form of punishment for many coaches, Sabin has earned a little forgiveness based on the fact that he can not get his team to follow his guidance.

For a team that was at the top of the college football world, the Tide has seen a drastic fall in this current football season, few players or fans for that matter saw things going the way that they did this season. It has to say the least a less than stellar season for the team.

There are several options that a person will want to give some serious consideration about when it comes to getting a gift for that special person that they will cherish for many years to come. There is no better way to get a person past the depression that they may be suffering from than with a gift that screams Tide pride.

The quarterback situation was a massive let down and as a result led to the team having to fall back onto the running game, one of the biggest issues that the running game suffered is that the running back was simply just not ready. It is not really the players fault, he was placed in a situation that did not allow him to adjust properly and find his rhythm. This in addition to the defense that suffered massive failure is a couple of the things that kept the team from having another perfect season.

One year ago, this was a team that was not able to be stopped; now they do good to escape each week with a victory. This has been a massive issue for the team and as the weeks continues to pass; this will be an area that needs to be looked at. The good news is that they still have a decent standing and are looking at still getting into one of the big bowel games. The absolute worst that they will end up at would be the Liberty Bowl.

Despite what fans may think, this is not the end, this is merely the beginning of the rebuilding effort that will take place over the next season, there will be glory in the State of Alabama once again, as the team will win and take home yet another National Championship. So for all the depressed fans, I offer this bit of encouragement, Go Tide.
