California established fact for fun in the sun. Anaheim, CA is well known around the country as a resort town. If you are looking for fun, Anaheim is definitely the place to visit. It is the home of the Walt Disney Resort, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Honda Center and The Anaheim Convention Center.

Anaheim is definitely an old town that includes a lot of history. It had been developed within the 1850's by grape farmers and wine makers. It was founded and inhabited by Germans. The grape industry was destroyed inside the late 1800's with a bug that infested and killed all of the grapes. It was quickly recovered by other fruits and nuts. It has developed over the past century into one of the county's most visited tourist attractions.

The largest of these attractions is the Walt Disney Resort and the Anaheim Convention Center. The Disney Resort consists of a hotel, restaurant, and shopping and entertainment area otherwise known as Downtown Disney. In 2001 Downtown Disney was opened to the public. The mission statement for the Anaheim Convention Center is to provide a versatile, first class venue, reflecting the Pride of Anaheim that offers people from throughout the world an opportunity to learn, interact, and exchange ideas. The Anaheim Convention Center will continue to host many conventions and conferences for people across the world for decades to come.

Simply put Honda Center is an arena, which dates back to 1993 with the opening of Barry Manilow in concert. The Honda Center holds many events including concerts performed by many famous artists.

Angel Stadium is home to the Anaheim Angels. The stadium also hosts professional and college football games as well. It is also used for small concerts and evangelist speakers. Famous artists like the Rolling Stones are simply one of the many bands to perform at this stadium.
